A well loved ostrich leather handbag estimated to come from the 1950s. This bag comes with it’s original price tag of £6-12s-6d which was the equivalent of 4 days work from a skilled tradesman back in the day. This was a luxury piece and obviously well loved by its owner judging on the patina. It comes with the original coin purse. In good usable condition overall with signs of wear and use. There are some signs of use in line with its age and the interior has been subject to a makeup spill of some kind. Handles have some darkening due to use. Overall this is still a very usable piece with a beautiful feel of history.
